I know it's only one week but it's more than normal so I officially feel a sort of accomplishment this week! I have caught up in my classes this week and I for the first time... possibly ever that I have pushed myself physically. I am determined to not give up just because I hurt or I'm tired. So this week I worked out a ton!!
Monday after I taught class I stayed for Crossfit and it quite literally kicked my butt. I don't ever wanna see the words air squats on that board again! :)
Then Tuesday I was so sore I rested some and worked out with the kids during classes so I got at least some movement in...
Wednesday I taught classes and then stayed for Crossfit again. I for reals didn't think I would make it through that class! lol Especially since it involved jump roping and if you know me... You know jump roping is NOT my thing. haha.
And finally yesterday I stayed for sparring class which was awesome! I have been out of training for awhile and it felt really good to be back in the ring. I LOVE being able to attack with the hands to the head. I am officially in love with back-fists and ridge hands. It was a great workout. Then I went home all almost settled in for the evening when Mike Slate called me to see if I wanted to hit the gym and I hesitated but I was like sure... So I went and did some cardio and then lifted some weights.
So today I am very sore but I feel great. Now I am off to work. After I teach today I'm hitting the gym and then we'll see what I can get into tonight! Yes... This has been a good week! :) :) :)
